What if I don’t enroll

My Favorites

If you took no action during annual enrollment, all current elections carried over to 2024, with the exception of your flexible spending account (FSA) elections, which do not carry over from year to year. You must re-enroll in the health care and/or dependent care FSA each year.

If you do not enroll within your initial 30-day enrollment period, you will automatically receive the default coverage outlined below, retroactive to your hire date. You will not have an opportunity to make changes until the next annual enrollment, unless you have a qualified life event. If you are hired in the fourth quarter of a calendar year, you will need to enroll in benefits for that year and the following year. You will receive a letter from the Benefits Service Center explaining the additional actions you need to take before the deadline.
